A year and a half ago, I was looking for something different. Bored with running, tired of “going to the gym” and getting back from a torn Achilles, I was looking for a change to jump start progress. As a former Division I soccer player and life long athlete (self-proclaimed), I see the benefit of friendly competition and pushing myself to a higher level. As a pediatrician, I also value nutrition, preventive health and overall wellness.
When I joined Crossfit Prime, I found what I was looking for and more! The workouts are intense and efficient-no wasting time! I have seen great improvement in strength, stamina and conditioning. Everyday I am doing things that frankly, I didn’t know I could-lifting more weight than ever, jumping higher, doing handstand push-ups etc.
From day one, I have been impressed with the coaches in-depth and accurate knowledge of physiology and nutrition. Not only has this helped improve my fitness at Prime but has benefited my overall diet and health. It’s great to have an intelligent conversation with a coach especially compared to the typical “out of the Box” gym trainer. Mark has helped a ton of people meet their personal goals-it’s nothing short of awesome.
One of my favorite parts about Crossfit Prime are my new “teammates.” It’s a great environment regardless of level. Members support one another and help each other do their best and better. My wife and I even team up together for partner workouts. The adrenaline, support and high-level instruction translates to results-it’s that simple.
My only regret on joining Prime is not doing it sooner.
