Skills this Saturday will be DUs – you do not have to have your own rope, but I recommend that everyone get their own rope. The lighter speed ropes are NOT suitable for learning DUs. Instead, I recommend RxJumpropes (.com) and a Buff (most people) or Beast rope (bigger dudes, you know who you are). You need the weight of the rope to learn the feel, and eventually getting a thinner rope will be appropriate.
If there is time we can also work on rope climbs.
The WOD is a partner WOD, 8 alternating rounds of 400m run, 10 burpee over box jump, 10 SDLHP (95/65), and 10 thrusters (95/65).
If anyone wants to tackle it on their own, it is 5 rounds with 1 minute rest between round – but this will be space and equipment restricted (i.e. I may say you have to go with a partner).
