Let me know if you peeps are signing up for the Phillies game. I got loan sharks knocking on my door looking for the money. They’ll bust my knee caps out if I don’t get them this cash for this game. Just yesterday they scooped me up while I was on a jog, which was a glorious jog by the way…. but as I was running they drove up beside me in a white van. The side door slid open and they threw a sack on my head. I couldn’t see anything! All I felt was these big dudes rollin on me with some sort of pipe. And every once in awhile, this little guy would taze me. I knew he was little because one of the big guys said.. “Lil steve, hits em again.” The next thing I know, I’m riding the lighting and pissin my underpants. After they realized I had nothing left in my bladder, and was one pipe shot away from seeing Jesus (or Allah, God, nobody, RA, Bob Marley or whoever else you believe or don’t believe in) they dumped me out of the van in front of my kids. I was like, “don’t worry babies, daddy is ok.” And just when I thought my kids where gonna come hug me as I laid there helpless, they reached into my pockets and took out a 20. So my main point is… Anyone serious about the Phils game, please get in your cash so we know where we stand. This way I can keep Lil Steve and the Boyz off my back. They said if I don’t get them the cash soon, they are gonna start making me do weird things to pay them back……. like rake the leaves at one of their houses or drive Lil Steve to his appointments. If you actually want some useful information, unlike the last 2 minutes of your life that I just wasted, then read on.
Phillies Game – June 2
There is a feature already about it so read that for details, but to sum up quickly…. Game is June 2nd. It is $45 a person for Shuttle to game and back and your ticket. Shuttle is picking us up at 1pm and bringing us back after the game. Please sign up by this week.
Tuesday – Bench, push ups & 3 3min max efforts
Wednesday – Max Effort, med ball cleans, and Team Relay WOD
Thursday – Push Jerk followed by 10 min WOD with Box Jumps, Pull ups, Lunges, & HSPU
Friday – Deadlifts and WOD with Burpees, KB Snatch, and Double Unders
Sat – To be announced… But a long hot smoker like usual!

CrossFit for Hope will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The goal is to raise 1.7MM – one day’s operating cost for St. Jude – to combat childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Register to participate or find an athlete or affiliate to sponsor and join the fight. 100% of the money raised will go to St. Jude!!!
Three rounds of:
75 pound Power snatch (55 for women)
Box jump, 24″ box
75 pound Thruster (55 for women)
Chest to bar Pull-ups
We will scale as usual!
“Hope” has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.

Partner Competition – June 16
The Partner WOD Challenge sign up will close at the end of this week so find a teammate and sign up if you haven’t already. Clues to the workouts will be announced next week. I will need volunteers to count and score, so members that aren’t participating could help by taking part in the day.
