Tell Me What You Think!!

Below is a vid of John overhead squatting his bodyweight(160lbs). Getting to and going beyond OHSing your BW is a good goal for any crossfiter to have and I hope all of you keep trying to get there. John is alittle upset it took this long to get there, but better late then ever. Also feel free to criticize anything you see wrong in his form, including depth. Enjoy!

    It’s funny you mentioned depth. That was the one thing I noticed and wondered if you went low enough. But heck it was still impressive!!! Way to go bro!

    I can’t say that I did or didn’t. There was no one else here and the video can go either way, I think. That is why I am asking for others opinions.

    Odd, this doesn’t show up correctly on you tube (and by correctly, I mean at all).

    Nice job John, BW is no joke. I think you went deep enough, but at this angle its really hard to tell if the weight is truly over-head. From the time you jerk it, the weight seems like it is behind your center of mass causing you to come up on your toes slightly in the middle of the lift and collapse a little in the torso to compensate.
