Your One Tough Mudder!!

May 2nd at Bear Creek!
Many of our CrossFit Prime Members are forming a team for the Tough Mudder race on Sunday May 2nd at Bear Creak Ski Resort. This day definetly has the potential to be a memorable one no matter how it turns out. If you would like to speak to some of the other members who are registering for this event just ask Mark or John and they will point the nuts out to you.(If you can’t tell who they are already) Below is some more information about the race taken from toughmudder.com.
Tough Mudder is the TOUGHEST one day event on the planet. This is not your average mud run or boring, spirit-crushing road race. Our 7 mile obstacle courses are designed by British Special Forces to test all around toughness, strength, stamina, fitness, camaraderie, and mental grit. Forget about your race time. Simply completing the event is a badge of honor. Not everyone will finish, but those who do make it to our post-race party will have truly earned the right to call themselves a Tough Mudder. All Tough Mudder sponsorship proceeds go to our exclusive charity partner, The Wounded Warrior Project. DogFish Head Brewery has generously agreed to provide FREE Post-Race Beer.

Couldn’t remember why May 2nd sounded familiar. I’m already registered for the Broad Street. Guess I will have to make a decision on how I want to destroy my body that day. Looked like a good one today.
Chris - although the BSR is a respectable event, I think you would have a lot more fun with us doing Tough Mudder! We even have a room reserved at the resort if we decide that we want to take Monday off of work (I have 2 rooms reserved if we have enough people who want to do it!). This is something that I have never done that I am so looking forward to accomplishing. I cannot remember ever looking forward to something as much as I am this event! Thanks to CFP for getting me ready to even think about doing this major event!
I am thinking about it, but I don’t really like heights into water and don’t think I will be able to convince myself to jump!
Saw that “Kelly” is the WOD saturday. That still stands as one of the hardest WOD’s I have done. Going to be a tough one.
