Saturday Team Workout
Today was a team W.O.D. for total reps for the return of our social coordinator.
Workout included 3 stations with each team at a station. One was box jumps for reps, another was burpees for reps, and the third was 12 rds of farmer’s walks. Each Farmer walk rd was 100 ft to be split between the team.
The team doing the farmer’s walk set the time of the round by trying to do it as fast as they could, thus limiting the amount of reps the other 2 teams could get. When one team finished their farmer’s walk, all teams would switch stations until all teams did each station. This was done twice and the total reps were added together for a total score. Mike & Kristi took the victory by taking advantage of their box jump skills.
Glad Tom could jump in for his first workout at CrossFit Prime.

I have to say that I really enjoy the group workouts! It is such a different dynamic than trying to beat yourself for reps or time. Of course, it makes you feel a little bit better when your team wins. Go Kristi!

My darn schedule always seems to compete with a team workout. Since I began training there I can only remember doing two. And one of those was in the infant stages of CFP. There was literally 4 of us there, a 2 on 2 event. I look forward to taking part in the next team workout (hopefully)! I read over this ToughMudder event. That sounds quite painful. Quite painful. For those doing the stair climb, do any of you have a desire to do some climb specific training?
